The article systematizes digital tools used at the initial stages of architectural and urban design. The source base includes peer-reviewed publications from 2023-2026 and publicly available information on operational software products. The paper covers generative platforms for site and urban design, GIS agents, interfaces connecting large language models with CAD/BIM environments, text-, sketch-, and gesture-based form-making tools, and immersive environments for architectural perception. The method is based on a comparative functional classification by the principal design task, input data, output, and key limitation. «DØMO LAB» is described as one example: a digital laboratory of architectural perception that combines graphical and information representations of a model, parameters of the light and sound environment, and body-conditioned user interaction. The results indicate a change in the functional role of digital tools from isolated image or form generation toward verifiable human-AI systems embedded in the professional work of architects and urban planners.
