The article examines approaches to the design of rehabilitation centers for people injured during warfare. The high intensity of modern conflicts requires a reconsideration of standard architectural solutions and the development of specialized spaces. The aim of the study is to identify principles for the sustainable organization of an environment that supports the physical, psychological, and social recovery of patients. Based on an analysis of domestic and international experience, the authors classify architectural requirements depending on the type of injury. Particular attention is paid to the systematization of six key characteristics of the rehabilitation environment, including sensory regulation, spatial clarity, and biophilic design. The results of the study can be used in the design of new facilities and in the modernization of existing healthcare institutions.
rehabilitation architectural facilities, victims of warfare, barrier-free environment, adaptive architecture, therapeutic space
